German eFuel One announces a new partnership with racing driver and brand ambassador Carrie Schreiner. Together, the partners are pursuing the goal of
to promote the use of synthetic, renewable fuels in motorsport and make their potential visible to a wide audience. Sponsorship is provided by the eFuels Forum supported. The cooperation sends out a strong signal for innovative, open-technology mobility and underlines the fact that motorsport is an important testing ground for pioneering technologies.
remains.
The specially developed synthetic racing fuel Racing eFuel 98 will be used as part of the 2026 NLS series and the 2026 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The fuel is produced and supplied
by eFuel GmbH as part of the DeCarTrans joint project (16RK14004A-F). Racing eFuel 98 stands for state-of-the-art fuel technology that combines high performance with a significant reduction in new CO2 emissions – without compromising on efficiency, range or driving dynamics.
German eFuel One is pursuing the clear goal of establishing synthetic fuels as a powerful, immediately usable solution in existing and future vehicle fleets as well as in professional
motorsport. The use in racing serves as an impressive practical test under extreme conditions and shows how eFuels can contribute to the reduction of new CO2 emissions in traffic without having to fundamentally change engine or vehicle technologies.
The commitment is accompanied by the strong media presence of Carrie Schreiner, who has been committed to innovation and sustainability both on and off the racetrack for years. As an experienced GT and endurance driver and committed advocate of climate-friendly technologies, she actively contributes her reach and expertise to the partnership. Her communication is intended to sensitize younger target groups and motorsport fans in particular to the topic of eFuels and further increase social acceptance.
“Motorsport is a perfect platform for technological innovation,” explains Christian Hanke, CEO of German eFuel One. “With Carrie Schreiner at our side, we are demonstrating that sustainable
high-performance fuels are already a real alternative in motorsport today and that their potential for individual mobility in the future goes far beyond motorsport.”
Carrie Schreiner emphasizes why this collaboration is important to her: “It is clear to me that the fascination of motorsport and climate protection should not be a contradiction in terms. With my
cooperation with German eFuel One, I can show that we can significantly reduce new CO2 emissions with eFuels while retaining the emotion, sound and performance that we all love. If we can drive at the front on the Nordschleife and in international series with synthetic, renewable fuel, that sends a strong signal to fans, associations, manufacturers and politicians.”
The eFuels Forum also sees the partnership as a decisive step. Lorenz Kiene, spokesman for the eFuels Forum, says: “The eFuels Forum was founded to turn an idea into a real success story. That is exactly what is happening here. Conviction for synthetic fuels is giving rise to concrete projects, investments and now also visible lighthouses in motorsport. German eFuel One and Carrie Schreiner show that eFuels are not a distant vision, but are working today. On the racetrack as well as at the pump in the future. The SME sector believes in eFuels as a building block of defossilization and is taking action.”
German eFuel One and the eFuels Forum are thus sending a clear signal: we need a sensible energy mix for the future. eFuels will be part of this and offer a decisive lever for integrating existing vehicle fleets into the transformation right now – quickly, effectively and without long conversion phases. Motorsport acts as an innovation and acceleration platform that impressively demonstrates how performance and environmental responsibility can be successfully combined.
